INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, announced a series of changes to their 2017-18 schedule on Wednesday.

Due to building availability, the Fuel's home series against the Quad City Mallards on Nov. 9 and 11 has been moved to February 23 and 24 at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. In turn, the games between Indy and Quad City previously scheduled for Feb. 23 and 24 at the iWireless Center in Moline, Ill. will now take place on Nov. 11 and 12.

The schedule change breaks up what was initially a 10-game homestand for the Fuel from Nov. 4 to Dec. 1, leaving six straight games from Nov. 14 to Dec. 1. However, Indy will now play five in a row on home ice from Feb. 20-27, part of a stretch that sees the club play eight out of nine in Indianapolis from Feb. 20 to March 9.

With the schedule swap, the Fuel pick up an extra Friday night home date (now 11 total) in exchange for a Thursday night (now two total).
