The Story: The Indy Fuel (2-6-2-1) kick off a six game homestand at Indiana Farmers Coliseum Tuesday as they take on the Toledo Walleye (7-2-2-0). It's the first All-You-Can-Eat Night of the season, so fans can enjoy endless hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and burgers free with the purchase of a game ticket. Fans are also invited to bring a donation for a Thanksgiving food drive, benefitting the Community Cupboard of Lawrence.

The Fuel return to home ice after picking up one point from a weekend set in Moline, Ill. against the Quad City Mallards. Indy fell 5-3 to the Mallards on Saturday night, before Quad City stole two points in a 2-1 overtime contest Sunday afternoon.

Sam Warning's goal 28 seconds into the extra frame proved to be the difference, as the Fuel and Mallards played almost two and a half periods at a 1-1 tie. Zach Miskovic tallied his second goal of the season to erase an early 1-0 Quad City lead, and goaltender Collin Delia carded a stellar 30-save performance in the overtime setback.

Continuing a stretch of five straight games against Central Division opponents, the Fuel look to end a six-game winless streak Tuesday as they welcome the Walleye back to Indianapolis. Indy enters Week 6 of the ECHL schedule in seventh place in the Central, one point back from the sixth place Kansas City Mavericks and four behind Fort Wayne and Kalamazoo.

Meanwhile, the defending Brabham Cup Champion Walleye have seized the top spot in the Central standings, arriving to Indiana Farmers Coliseum with points in six straight games and eight of their previous nine.

Toledo took three of four points from a weekend home-and-home series with the Wheeling Nailers over the weekend, falling 4-3 in overtime Friday in West Virginia before responding with a 5-3 victory on home ice Saturday.

Open Wides: Forward Alex Wideman (4g, 4a) tallied a goal and two assists over the weekend in Quad City, including a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-3 loss. The third-year forward is tied for second on the Fuel roster with eight points through 11 games, while leading the club with 44 shots on net.

Not Gone in 60 Minutes: Sunday was the fourth time this season the Fuel needed overtime to find a winner. Indy is now 0-2 in games decided in 3-on-3 overtime, and 1-1 in contests extending to a shootout. The Fuel are well on pace to shatter the mark of nine overtime contests they appeared in over the 2016-17 season - the fewest of any team in the league last year.

On The Shelf: Fuel forward Ryan Rupert was issued a four game suspension from the ECHL Monday following his game misconduct received in Sunday's overtime loss. Rupert will miss all three of Indy's games this week, as well as next Friday's game against Fort Wayne. The forward will be eligible to return to the lineup against Kansas City on Saturday, Nov. 25.

Inside the Matchup: Tuesday marks the second of nine meetings between the Fuel and Walleye in 2017-18, the second of six from Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The two teams met back on Sunday, Nov. 5 in the Circle City, with Toledo skating off with a 3-2 victory. Ryan Rupert tallied a goal and an assist for the Fuel in the season series debut, while Walleye goaltender Pat Nagle stopped 24 of 26 shots for the victory.

Toledo has won 16 of the 18 all-time meetings between the two clubs, while Indy holds a 1-9-0-1 record on home ice against the Detroit Red Wings affiliate.

Scouting Report: Walleye forward Mike Borkowski (4g, 5a) recorded a hat trick in Toledo's 5-3 triumph over Wheeling on Saturday night, giving him a share of the team scoring lead with nine points. Borkowski enters Tuesday with five points over his last three games (3g, 2a), and has found the scoresheet in seven of his last eight ... Forward Austen Brassard (7a) has recorded five assists in his last four outings, leading all Toledo skaters with seven helpers ... Goaltender Pat Nagle leads all ECHL puck-stoppers with seven wins.
