#Fuel5 Alumni Spotlight presented by Marian University Indianapolis - Rhett Bly

A member of the inaugural 2014-15 Fuel roster, forward Rhett Bly was one of Indy's most reliable and versatile players for two seasons. Missing only two games during his tenure in the Circle City, Bly provided steady offensive production on top of a strong two-way style of play - becoming the first-ever winner of the Fuel's Penalty Killer Award after the 2014-15 season.

Over two seasons with the Fuel, the native of Regina, Saskachewan compiled a total of 27 goals and 36 assists, while his 142 games played in an Indy uniform ranks third in franchise history behind current players Zach Miskovic and Matt Rupert.

A graduate of Merrimack University, Bly signed with Grenoble in France prior to the 2016-17 season, but a preseason injury sidelined him for the entire regular season schedule. Bly was able to return to the roster for the postseason, posting two goals in 12 playoff contests before retiring in the offseason.
