Monday, December 31 - Fuel 6 at Kalamazoo 2: Indy rung in 2019 with a big road victory as the club claimed a 6-2 come-from-behind triumph over the Kalamazoo Wings on New Year's Eve at Wings Event Center. Facing a 2-1 deficit after one period, the Fuel surged for four goals in the second and one more in the third to pick up their second consecutive win in Michigan. Twin brothers Ryan (1g, 3a) and Matt (2g) combined for six points, while Logan Nelson (1g, 1a), Josh Shalla (1 goal, 1 assist) and Avery Peterson also found the back of the net. Goaltender Matt Tomkins stopped 33 of 35 shots to register his fourth straight victory between the pipes.

Thursday, January 3 - Fuel 1 vs. Fort Wayne 4: A pair of second-period goals from J.C. Compagna helped the Fort Wayne Komets break open a 1-1 tie, as the Fuel fell 4-1 Thursday night at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Logan Nelson picked up the lone Indy goal early in the middle frame, before Fort Wayne responded with three unanswered tallies. Zachary Fucale stopped 33 of 34 Fuel shots for the Komets, while the reigning Goaltender of the Week Matt Tomkins made 36 saves in the loss.

Friday, January 4 - Fuel 3 vs. Wheeling 2: The Fuel got a huge boost from their special teams Friday as they took down the Wheeling Nailers by a 3-2 count at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Indy finished the contest 2-for-4 on the power play and 7-for-7 on the penalty kill to improve to 3-2 against the Nailers this season. Brett Welychka's third-period goal stood to be the game-winner, after Kevin Dufour and Alex Brooks struck in the opening frame to give the Fuel a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes. Ryan Rupert chipped in a pair of assists, while goaltender Matt Tomkins recorded his 14th win of the season with 20 saves.

Saturday, January 5 - Fuel 2 at Fort Wayne 3: The Fuel couldn't escape a first period 2-0 deficit as they fell to the Komets at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Brett Welychka and Quentin Shore found the net for Indy, which dropped their second game to Fort Wayne in three nights.
