This season the Fuel are proud to be teaming up with PNC Bank to help make a difference around Central Indiana. Each month, we'll take a closer look at what the Fuel organization has been up to away from the rink in our Community Spotlight.
-The Fuel have teamed up with the CBS4 Reads program, geared to promote literacy and reading in the Indianapolis area. This January, several Fuel players partnered with CBS4 personality Star Derry to visit Traders Point Christian share their passion for reading.
-In honor of Hockey Fights Cancer night on January 26, team-signed memorabilia such as sticks, helmets and other items were auctioned off to the highest bidder on the team's DASH Auction page. The proceeds from the auction were donated to the Community Health Network Foundation, which works to raise financial support for full continuum of care through more than 200 sites and hundreds of physicians throughout Central Indiana.
-The Fuel are dedicated to fostering youth hockey in Central Indiana. Several players hit the ice to join Junior Fuel players at their practices to show them some tips and tricks!
