Indianapolis, IN - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks and the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs are honored to assist Navy veteran Kris Glomski in welcoming a new service dog and companion into her home. As a season ticket holder Glomski has attended Fuel games with her now retired service dog Logan, and as appreciation to Glomski for being such a dedicated fan the Fuel provided transportation for her new service dog from Scotland to the United States so she could continue to attend Fuel games.
Glomski attended home games this past season with her service dog Logan, an 11 year old husky who has been her companion for over a decade. Glomski has decided to retire Logan for some much needed rest after years of hard work. In search for a new service dog Glomski found the perfect match with a breeder in Livingston, Scotland. Due to the high cost of overseas travel she wasn't sure if she would be able to bring the pup home - until Helene Hallett, wife of Fuel owner Jim Hallett, stepped in.
Hallett could see how Glomski was an avid hockey fan and that Logan had become a beloved part of the Fuel fan base as well. Hallett involved the Fuel in the process of assisting the transportation for the new pup so Glomski could continue to enjoy Fuel games and bring a new furry face into the family.
“Thank you to the Hallett's and the Indy Fuel Hockey team for being so kind to us,” Glomski stated. “Your thoughtfulness and kindness is greatly appreciated and I will be forever grateful to all of you. I will always be a loyal and enthusiastic fan of the Indy Fuel.”
The newest four legged Fuel fan is a 12 week old Northern Inuit male. He loves long walks, bandanas, his big brother Logan and of course, Fuel hockey.
To welcome the new puppy into the Fuel family Glomski wanted fans to be involved in the naming process.
Starting June 4 fans can submit name suggestions and why they believe their name should be selected. The top three submissions will be written on individual pieces of paper and laid out in front of the dog where he will choose whichever name he think fits him best. The fan who submits the winning name will receive a Fuel prize pack.

Submissions will be accepted until June 14 and the final name selection will be on June 17.
