This season the Fuel are proud to be teaming up with PNC Bank to help make a difference around Central Indiana. Each month, we'll take a closer look at what the Fuel organization has been up to away from the rink in our Community Spotlight.
September 6th First Friday Food Truck: The food trucks were back, and so was the Fuel as the Indianapolis community gathered to try a variety of different foods from various food trucks while having fun with local organizations from around the city.
September 7th Fishers Safety Day: The Fuel joined the Fishers Fire & Emergency Services and St. Vincent Hospital who teamed up to educate the public on opportunities to develop health and wellness.
September 7th Party in the Park: Hosted by the Indiana Parks and Recreation Foundation (IPRF), the Fuel joined other organizations to help support and fundraise for the IPRF Scholarship Fund. The fund is distributed to students and professionals in the parks and recreation domain.
October 5th Mini Mini: Indy Fuel partnered up with IMS and other local organizations for the Speedway's Mini-Mini marathon which allows kids to experience the Mini-Marathon, but suited for them! The team welcomed in kids and their families to try slapshots and earn a variety of prizes!
October 5th Junior Fuel: The Fuel had a party as we welcomed the Junior Fuel and their families to come together and celebrate hockey and the fun times we've had!
October 15th Kids Club Fall Skate: The Fuel hosted members of the Nitro Kids Club, presented by PNC Bank, over to have some fun at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The kids and their families were able to skate with players and even learn a few tips and pointers on the ice!
October 19th Circle the City: In its second annual event that helps support the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, the Fuel joined up with other organizations in the fitness and wellness stem of the program. The girls were able to explore possible careers, explore new things, and network for possible jobs and social experiences down the line.
