PNC Community Spotlight - December

This season the Fuel are proud to be teaming up with PNC Bank to help make a difference around Central Indiana. Each month, we'll take a closer look at what the Fuel organization has been up to away from the rink in our Community Spotlight.

December 5th, 2019 - Make-A-Wish

The Fuel paired up with 99.5 Request-a-Thon and Make a Wish to help make Soren's wish, to renovate his game room, come true. The Fuel donated team items to Sorens game room renovations!

December 15th, 2019 - Kids Club Holiday Party

The Fuel celebrated the holidays with their Kids Club at the Fuel Tank! The Kids Club and Fuel players decorated cookies and made some cool crafts.

December 17th/19th, 2019 -RTV Literacy Program

The Indy Fuel teamed up with the RTV-6 Literacy Program to read some stories to the kids at local schools. This program aims to teach the impact of reading to kids and its connection to mental and intellectual growth.

December 18th, 2019 -Gifts to the Hospital

The Fuel were in the holiday spirit as the players made a variety of different ornaments that were then sold at the Teddy Bear Toss game. The proceeds of the ornaments were then used to go shopping to load up on gifts to give to those who need them most at Community North Hospital!
