INDIANAPOLIS - The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced Saturday that they have recalled forwards Mathew Thompson and Dylan McLaughlin as well as defenseman Dmitry Osipov from the ECHL's Indy Fuel.
Thompson, 26, has appeared in 21 games for the Fuel this season, earning seven goals and seven assists. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound forward has 93 ECHL games under his belt, tallying 30 goals and 39 assists. Thompson signed with Indy in 2018 after playing four seasons at Adrian College (NCAA IIII) where he earned 61 goals and 67 assists in 105 NCAA contests.
Since being assigned to the Fuel in early November, Dylan McLaughlin has played 12 ECHL games, earning seven goals and six assists. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound forward signed a 2-year AHL contract with Rockford on March 13, 2019 after finishing a four-year collegiate career at Canisius College and has appeared in 11 AHL games, earning two assists and a -8 rating.
Osipov, 23, has appeared in eight games this season with the Fuel after returning from an early season injury. The 6-foot-4, 229-pound defenseman has played in 74 games in a Fuel uniform, tallying two goals and 15 assists. The native of Moscow, Russia has 107 ECHL games under his belt, scoring three goals and 19 assists.
