THE MATCHUP: The Fuel have met the Wings four times this season, splitting the matchups two wins each. The last time the two teams met, the Fuel fell 5-3 at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Fuel have put together a record of 10-8-0-0 over the past five years at Wings Event Center, although only taking the win one of the two matchups in Kalamazoo this season. The Wings enter Saturday night's game desperate for points, sitting in sixth in the Central Division, while Indy is one point ahead of the Fort Wayne Komets in third place.

The newly acquired goaltender has skated in 10 games for the Fuel this season, earning ar 4-3-1-0 record as well as a 2.46 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage. Skating in 27 games with the Fuel this season, Charles Williams has amassed a 2.71 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage. In 27 games in a Fuel uniform, Williams has earned a 16-8-1-2 record. Splitting the 2019-20 season with Jake Kielly, former Fuel goaltender Jake Hildebrand has earned a near-even record ad 12-12-3-0 while registering a 3.60 goals-against average and a .886 save percentage. Making 28 saves on 32 shots from the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday, Jake Kielly earned his sixth win of the season, recording himself a 4.03 goals-against average and a .884 save percentage.
