Seeing two goals from Spencer Watson and Nic Pierog continuing his scoring streak, Indy would go to their fifth overtime period of the season, where Matt Marcinew scored the game-winning goal, handing Indy the 6-5 win.

Earning a goal and three assists in Friday night’s game Matt Marcinew takes over as the Fuel’s points leader. The fourth-year forward has registered three goals and six assists on the season, putting him tied for fifth in the league in points.
WATTY RETURNS
Picking up two goals and an assist on Friday, Spencer Watson has points in his last three games. Scoring his first two goals of the season on Friday, Watson expects to get back into the scoring trend after putting up career-high numbers during the 2019-20 season.
GOING STREAKING
Nic Pierog enters Saturday’s game having scored at least a goal in his last four games. The skilled left-winger picked up a goal in Friday’s matchup and two goals in last Saturday’s game against the Wheeling Nailers, including the overtime winner. With six goals on the season, Pierog sits in second place in the ECHL in goals behind Allen’s Jesse Mychan.
