Greenville took the early lead at the end of the first period only for both teams to trade goals throughout the night. Indy would fight until the dying seconds but would eventually fall 4-3 on Friday night.Â

Scoring two goals in Wednesday’s game against the Fort Wayne Komets and earning a goal on Friday night, Nic Pierog continues to sit atop the league standings in goals earning 14 tallies in 19 games. Picking up a goal and an assist during Friday’s loss to Greenville, Pierog has points in back-to-back games for the first time since January 8 and 9 against the Swamp Rabbits.
