SCORING TOUCH

Scoring only eight goals in their previous six games, the Fuel exploded for seven goals in Saturday night’s contest. The last time an Indy Fuel team scored seven goals in a game was February 17, 2019 at Wichita. Although giving up six goals to the Mavericks on Saturday, the Fuel have put together back-to-back overtime wins against Kansas City and have won three out of their last four heading into Sunday night.

MAGIC MATT

Tallying two goals and two assists on Saturday night, Matt Marcinew has five points in his last two games. The Calgary, Alberta native had been struggling to string together points prior to Friday but was part of four out of Indy’s seven goals on Saturday night.

BRILLIANT BAKALA

Through his last two starts, Fuel goaltender Dan Bakala has made 53 saves on 57 shots faced. Appearing in 19 games for the Fuel this season, the 33-year-old goaltender sits in second place in the ECHL in wins and in third place in goals-against average.
