Coming off of a 5-0 stomping by the Komets, the Fuel will play their second of three matchups at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Headed into Saturday night, the Fuel have lost two games in a row while the Komets snapped a three-game losing skid on Friday against Indy.

In the first game of three matchups this weekend, the Fuel gave up three goals in the first period, two of them coming from Zach Pochiro. The Komets’ Brandon Hawkins would score two goals in the second period to eventually hand the Fuel a 5-0 lead on Friday night.
ROCKFORD REINFORCEMENTS
Prior to friday’s game against the Komets, the Chicago Blackhawks and Rockford IceHogs sent Brad Morrison and Chad Yetman to the Fuel as reinforcements. The pair of players have played a combined 16 AHL games this season earning four goals and four assists. Additionally, defenseman Cliff Watson returned to the lineup to help the defense this weekend.
TURNING AROUND
Having been shutout four times this season, the Fuel have bounced back the next game with six goals the next game twice this year. Although Indy has struggled to string together multiple wins recently, Friday night’s loss was only the fifth time that they have lost back-to-back games. Playing their sixth game in 11 days on Saturday, Indy will be looking four their third win of the year against the Komets.
