LAST TIME OUT

In their second game during a three game week, the Indy Fuel hosted the Fort Wayne Komets for the fifth time this season. Indy’s Michael McNicholas would score a power-play goal early in the first period but the team would give up two unanswered Fort Wayne goals and fall 2-1 on Thursday, March 11.

FAMILIAR FACES

Friday night’s game will be Indy’s sixth out of 20 matchups during the 2019-20 season. Indy only saw the Komets eight times last season and struggled to string together wins, finishing the year with a 2-5-0-1 record. Friday will be the first time the Fuel have visited the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Through their first five games at home against the Komets, the Fuel have strung together a record of 2-3-0-0.

GOING STREAKING

In four games last week, forward Matt Marcinew picks up four goals and three assists. The fourth year pro has put himself in first place on the Fuel scoring list, tallying 14 goals, 16 assists through 30 games. Playing alongside Nic Pierog, the pair of players sit first and second on the Fuel points list, scoring combined 32 goals and 25 assists.
