FUEL AND SOLAR BEARS POSTPONED AFTER ONE PERIOD

INDIANAPOLIS- Saturday night's game between the Indy Fuel and Orlando Solar Bears has been postponed due to unsafe ice conditions. The teams were able to complete the majority of the first period with Orlando holding a 2-0 lead.

Orlando would take the lead 2:17 into the first period when Kyle Topping jumped on a Fuel turnover and fed a breakaway pass to Michael Joly. Joly would streak down on a breakaway and beat Tom Aubrun through the fivehole to take the 1-0 lead. The Solar Bears doubled their lead on a tic-tac-toe play that fed Tristin Langan an open one-timer to beat Aubrun.

Sunday’s contest between Indy and Orlando will go on as scheduled at 3pm at Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
