Playing their second game of a three-game series this weekend, the Fuel visited the Fort Wayne Komets at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Indy would take a 2-0 into the locker room after the first period before scoring one goal in the second period and three in the third. Tom Aubrun would stop 43 shots on Saturday night, picking up the 6-3 win over the Komets.

Joining the Fuel on Friday night, new signing Terry Broadhurst made an immediate impact by assisting Indy’s first and only goal of the game. Playing in his second game for the Fuel on Saturday night, Broadhurst picked up three points. Assisting on both of Matt Marcinew’s goals and scoring a goal of his own, Broadhurst has four points in his first two games.
