Beginning a three-game series on Friday night, the Indy Fuel hosted their I-69 rival Fort Wayne Komets. NEW GUY
Joining the Fuel on Friday night, new signing Terry Broadhurst made an immediate impact by assisting Indy’s first and only goal of the game. “He’s a really committed player who adds speed, adds scoring, adds veteran presence,” said Doug Christiansen. “He was a captain in the American League as well. He’s a guy that we sought to try to get for four months. Finally, it came together for us.”
MATT’S SCORING
Scoring the team’s only goal on Friday night, Matt Marcinew leads the Fuel in points by five. Putting together four goals and three assists in 10 games against the Komets, Marcinew leads Indy when facing their arch-rival.
