LAST TIME OUT

Playing their second game of the weekend after a postponement on Saturday night, Indy hosted the Orlando Solar Bears on Sunday afternoon. Indy would score three goals in the first period and add on five more in the second and third before going on to win 8-2 on Sunday.

SPECIAL TEAMS CLICKING

Entering Monday’s game, Indy’s power play has scored on four out of their eight chances. Through two games against Orlando, the Fuel have seen four different players score on the man advantage. Along with a hot power play, Indy’s penalty kill has killed off eight out of nine penalties taken against the Solar Bears.

3RD ALL-TIME

Assisting Dylan Malmquist’s goal on Sunday afternoon, Michael Pelech took sole possession of 3rd place on the ECHL’s all-time assist list. The veteran center has played 26 games since joining the Fuel in late February, tallying eight goals and 10 assists.

CRITICAL POINTS

Earning a win on Sunday afternoon, Indy put themselves back in second place in the East Division. A comeback win on Monday night will give Indy a .607 win percentage and hold them in the 2nd playoff spot. A loss to the Solar Bears on Monday night will drop them to third place in the division behind Greenville.
