LAST TIME OUT

Playing their only game of the weekend, the Indy Fuel visited their I-69 rival Fort Wayne Komets on Friday night. Fort Wayne would be the first and only team to score through the first two periods. Indy saw goals from Antoine Waked and Alex Rauter but it wouldn’t be enough as they fell 5-2 to the Komets

SCORING TOUCH

One of Indy’s two goals on Friday night was scored by forward Alex Rauter. Since returning from injury on April 25, Rauter has scored three goals in four games. Through 30 games in a Fuel uniform this season, Rauter has earned eight goals and seven assists.

FRUSTRATED RIVAL

Coming into Saturday night, Indy hasn’t defeated their I-69 rival since April 10. Facing the Komets 15 times this season, the Fuel have strung together a 4-8-3-0 record.

CRUNCH TIME

Coming into this week’s matchups, Indy sits in third place in the East Division. With a loss in regulation on Friday and Greenville defeating Orlando, Indy is in third with a .575 win percentage. If Indy falls to Fort Wayne again on Saturday and Orlando defeats Greenville, the Fuel will drop to the fourth spot in the East Division. A regulation win and a Greenville loss will keep Indy in the third spot in the division.
