After losing the first two matchups with the Rapid City Rush, Indy returned to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center for the third of a four-game series on Saturday night. Entering the third period down by a goal, Spencer Watson and Matt Marcinew would score for Indy to help them take a 3-2 win over the Rush on Saturday night.

Scoring the eventual game winning goal on Saturday night, forward Matt Marcinew broke the franchise record for game winning goals. Marcinew enters Sunday night on a two game goal streak and leading the Fuel in points (22g, 21a).
DOWN THE STRETCH
Earning a win on Saturday night, the Fuel further cemented themselves in the 3rd position in the East. With Orlando falling on Saturday night to the South Carolina Stingrays, the Fuel pushed their gap to four games over the Solar Bears. The Fuel will be cheering for a South Carolina win on Sunday while fighting for their own win over the Rush.
