Coming off of a 5-2 win over the Wheeling Nailers on Friday night, the Indy Fuel will close out their weekend with a home matchup against the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday night. Indy is looking to continue their winning ways while Kalamazoo is expecting to bounce back after a 4-2 loss to Fort Wayne on Friday.

In the first of 12 matchups this season, the Indy Fuel visited the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday night. The Wings would see seven goals from five different players on their way to a 7-2 win over the Fuel at Wings Event Center.Â
CHAD LEADS THE WAY
Entering Saturday’s contest, Chad Yetman leads the team with four goals and nine assists. Yetman is one of five Blackhawks prospects that is currently averaging a point or more per game. The others include Lukas Reichel (AHL), Colton Dach (WHL), Taige Harding (AJHL) and Jalen Luypen (WHL).Â
OPENING THE GATES
Picking up two goals in Friday’s win, Brent Gates leads the Fuel in goals with six. The third-year forward has skated in nine of Indy’s 11 games and has tallied four goals and four assists, putting him in second place on the team in points.Â
DEFENSE GETTING INVOLVED
Two defensemen combined for three of Indy’s five goals in Friday’s win over the Wheeling Nailers. Cliff Watson has three goals in his last two games while Jacob LeGuerrier has two goals in his first eight games with the Fuel.
MIKE LEADS THE DÂ
Mike Lee comes into Saturday’s contest with the most points among Fuel defensemen. Having skated in all 11 of Indy’s games this season, Lee has registered one goal and eight assists, tying him for first place among ECHL defensemen in assists.
