LAST TIME OUT

Playing their final game of a 21-game season series, the Indy Fuel hosted their I-69 rival Fort Wayne Komets on Monday, May 31 at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Fuel would see five goals scored by five different players in route to a 5-2 win over the Komets.

STRUGGLING TO ANSWER

Entering week 5 of the ECHL season, the Indy Fuel have been outscored 14-6 in their last two games. Through their first nine games of the season, the Fuel have not been able to string together back-to-back wins. Their last points in the standings came in a shootout loss to Cincinnati on Tuesday.

ROCKFORD REINFORCEMENTS

Although the Fuel lost on Sunday night, Chad Yetman and Kale Howarth combined for two goals and two assists. The pair of young guns combined with Cliff Watson who picked up a helper of his own.

DEFENSE HELPING OUT

Coming into Wednesday night, Mike Lee sits in third place in assists by ECHL defenseman. The second-year defenseman has skated in all nine of Indy’s games this season and has tallied one goal and six assists. His six helpers put him in second on the Fuel in assists.

MAKING MOVES

The Indy Fuel made multiple moves this week trading Diego Cuglietta and Quin Foreman to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. In making those moves, the Fuel acquired forward Anthony Rinaldi to help their offense. Rinaldi has played seven games for the Swamp Rabbits this season and has tallied one goal and four assists.
