Earning a 6-3 win over Iowa on Friday, the Fuel registered 47 shots. Coming into Sunday’s contest against Wheeling, the Fuel sit in seventh place in the league in average shots per game with 34 shots per game.Â
SCORING IS KEY
Through their first four games of the season, the Fuel have averaged the fourth-least goals against per game in the ECHL (2.50). Their opponent on Sunday afternoon has given up the fifth-most goals this season, averaging 3.75 goals against per game.Â

Sunday afternoon will be the beginning of a five-game road swing for the Indy Fuel. In their first four games of the season, Indy has only played on the road once, earning a 6-0 win over the Cincinnati Cyclones. During their five-game road swing, the Fuel will face five out of six of their Central Division rivals.
