Playing their third and final game of the weekend, the Fuel travel to Kalamazoo to face the Wings in the second half of their home and home series. Indy is coming off back-to-back wins while Kalamazoo is looking to get back on the winning track after losing their last two games.

Hosting their annual Teddy Bear Toss game, the Fuel faced the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday night. After giving up the first two goals of the game, the Fuel put up nine goals breaking a franchise record and earning them their second home win in as many days.
Scoring nine goals on Saturday night, the Indy Fuel broke a franchise record for goals in a game. Prior to Saturday night, the most goals Indy had scored was in an 8-2 win over the Orlando Solar Bears on April 25, 2021.
Tallying an assist on Saturday night, Jared Thomas extended his point streak to 11 games. Earning one goal and three assists in his last two games, Thomas has picked up 4 goals and 11 assists in his last 11 contests. The fourth-year pro has skated in 18 games for the Fuel this season registering four goals and 12 assists.
The Fuel saw nine different players score on Saturday night. Through their last two home games, Indy has tallied a total of 16 goals from 12 different skaters, including four goals from Darien Craighead and two from Spencer Watson.
After being acquired by the Fuel on Tuesday, Darien Craighead and Karl El-Mir have picked up a combined four goals and two assists. El-Mir’s goal on Saturday night was his first since October 29 while Craighead earned his first career hat-trick on Friday against Cincinnati.
