After giving up four straight goals to the Walleye, the Fuel’s Jared Thomas and Darien Craighead would score three goals of their own. Picking up an assist in Friday's loss to Wheeling, Darien Craighead has a goal and two assists in his last two contests. Since joining the Fuel in mid-December via a trade with the Norfolk Admirals, Craighead has tallied seven goals and 12 assists in 18 games.GRABBING THE LEAD
Entering Sunday’s contest, the Fuel have earned a 9-2-0-1 when leading after the first period. Scoring the first goal of the game on Friday, the Fuel are 13-6-2-1 when scoring the first goal of the game. THOMAS TIME
After registering two goals and two assists in three games, Jared Thomas leads the Fuel in points by five. Having earned three goals and one assist in six games against the Toledo Walleye, Thomas will be a player to watch in Sunday’s game. The third-year pro currently sits in third place in the ECHL in assists with 26.
