After earning two out of three wins over the weekend, the Fuel enters Week 23 of the ECHL season looking to continue in their winning ways. Facing the Nailers on Wednesday, the Fuel will be looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since March 4th. Wheeling enters Wednesday with points in their last two games but is looking to earn consecutive wins for the first time since February 26.

LAST TIME OUT
In the second half of back-to-back games between the two teams, the Indy Fuel hosted the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday night. Scoring two goals in the first period, the Nailers would hold on to their lead and eventually defeat the Fuel 4-1.
WONDEROUS WATSON
Forward Spencer Watson played a massive role in Indy’s winning record this weekend. The 5th-year pro tallied three goals and an assist in three games this weekend and tied himself for 4th place on the ECHL goals list. Skating in 55 games this season, Watson leads the team in scoring chances per game, averaging 1.07 per game.
TREMENDOUS TRIO
Playing together in two games over the weekend, the trio of Riley Mckay, Chase Lang and Seamus Malone combined for three goals and seven assists. Joining the Fuel on March 11th, Chase Lang tallied his first points in a Fuel uniform on Friday night and added a goal and an assist on Sunday afternoon in Indy’s 4-1 win.
GENERATING CHANCES
Wednesday night will be Indy’s 10th meeting with the Nailers this season. Through their first nine contest, the Fuel have put together a 4-4-1-0 record against the Central Division foe. Although outshooting the Nailers 503-478 through nine games, the Fuel have been outscored 29-28. When outshooting their opponents this season the Fuel have earned a perfect .500 record of 15-15-1-1.
