After dropping the first game of the weekend to the Fort Wayne Komets, the Fuel turn their sights to the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday night. Indy comes into Saturday having won three out of their last five games while Wheeling is looking for their first win since March 19.

In the first of four games this week, the Indy Fuel hosted Central Division rival Wheeling Nailers on Wednesday night. After heading into the first period tied, the Fuel would see four unanswered goals from Tanner Butler, Seamus Malone, Spencer Watson and Bryan Lemos eventually earning a 4-1 win.
MAGNIFICENT MANDAT
Tallying an assist on the Fuel’s first goal of the game on Friday, Jan Mandat has four assists in his last three games. The Czech native enters Saturday night’s contest with one goal and five assists in his last six games. “Obviously he's a massive part of our team and he's a fantastic player. The more comfortable he's gotten, the more he's grown into a leader. He’s well-liked by his teammates, well-liked by the fans and the organization so i can’t say enough good things about him,” said Interim Head Coach Duncan Dalmao.
BRILLIANT BRYAN
Scoring one of Indy’s pair of goals on Friday, Bryan Lemos has three goals and one assist in his last four games. Joining the Fuel on February 18th, Lemos has registered six goals, seven assists and a plus-11 rating. Skating in a total of 58 games this season, Lemos has tallied 14 goals and 25 assists.
CHASING HISTORY
Entering Saturday’s contest against the Nailers, Spencer Watson has tallied four goals and one assist in his last five games. Entering his 156th game in a Fuel uniform, Watson is nine goals away from breaking the Fuel franchise record for all-time goals. Scoring at a rapid pace, Watson is also on pace to break his own record franchise record for goals in a season (31).
