INDIANAPOLIS – The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs announced Saturday that they have signed forwards Canon Pieper and Quinn Ryan to standard player contracts.
Pieper, 28, signs with Indy after splitting the majority of the season between Iowa, Orlando and Adirondack. The Roseville, Minnesota native has played in 31 ECHL games this season tallying four goals, seven assists and 12 penalty minutes.
Ryan, 26, joins the Fuel after spending the first half of the season with the Utah Grizzlies. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound rookie has played 57 games this season tallying 12 goals ans 12 assists. Prior to joining the Grizzlies, Ryan played five seasons for Liberty University (ACHA) where he earned ACHA Player of the Year in 2020-21.
