INDIANAPOLIS- The Indy Fuel hope to win their sixth straight game and third straight against Iowa tonight after a historic night last night gave them a new Fuel franchise goals record by Spencer Watson. Goaltender Cam Gray also earned his first ECHL win in the match.

LAST TIME OUT

Last night, the Fuel beat the Heartlanders 5-2 despite giving up a goal to Iowa just 44 seconds into the game. Indy scored two power play goals, one empty net goal and Spencer Watson tallied his 81st goal as a member of the Fuel, breaking the franchise record. Indy has won all four meetings between these two teams so far this season and is looking to win the fifth.

POWER PLAYS

The Fuel have found success on the power play lately, scoring six power play goals across the last four games which they have all won. Because of this, their power play is now ranked sixth in the league which is a huge improvement from earlier in the season. Additionally, the Fuel still lead the league in shorthanded goals with nine.

HANDY DANDY ANDY

Andrew Perrott is currently on a four game goal streak after scoring an overtime winning goal on Wednesday night for the Fuel against Iowa and posting his first professional multi-point game last night against them. He is one of just three players who has yet to miss a game this season and is now finding him on the scoresheet more regularly.
