INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel head to Cincinnati for a Friday night matchup where they hope to win their first game against the Cyclones on the road. Indy is currently 2-3-1 against them with their only two wins coming at home.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was January 20 at Indiana Farmers Coliseum where the Fuel shutout the Cyclones 6-0. Since then, the Cyclones have gone 2-3-1, getting swept by the Newfoundland Growlers in a three game set last week. They briefly lost their second place position in the Central division to Toledo but have since earned it back.
The Fuel are currently the owners of two of the longest point streaks in the league. Cam Hillis has a twelve game home point streak going while Chad Yetman has a nine game road point streak going. Both of these are the longest current point streaks in the league in their respective categories.
WELCOME BACK WEEKS
Goaltender Mitchell Weeks is returning to the Fuel’s roster after a long stint with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL. While in Rockford this season, Weeks has gone 5-2-3-0 with a save percentage of .906 and a goals against average of 2.72. In his twelve games in Indy this season, he has gone 9-2-1-0.
