INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel are in Iowa to faceoff with their division rivals, the Heartlanders in the ninth meeting between these teams this season. Indy is 6-2 against Iowa this season. The Heartlanders are currently in last place in the division with 35 points and 12 wins.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was February 10 when the Heartlanders defeated the Fuel 4-2 in their second win over Indy of the season. Despite the score, forward Cam Hillis had a two point night for the Fuel.
WICKED WEDNESDAYS
The Fuel lost their first Wednesday game of the season but have since won six straight Wednesday games. Alex Wideman, who is due to return to the lineup tonight, is on a five-game point streak on Wednesdays. Additionally, Hillis has seven points through seven Wednesday games this season. Carson Rose has a goal in two straight Wednesday matchups.
ROSE GOAL(D)
Since joining the Fuel, Carson Rose has had four goals and four assists through 18 games. Three of those goals came against the Iowa Heartlanders. Only one of the four was an even-strength goal as he had two power play goals and one shorthanded goal. Additionally, one of his assists was a power play assist.
