HOCKEY IS FOR EVERYONE
Hockey is for everyone! The Fuel are teaming up with organizations throughout Indianapolis and sports that promote inclusivity, equity and inspire change in the community with the "Hockey for Everyone" initiative.
The Tap Room entrance will be closed this weekend due to other events taking place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
PARKING: Parking at Indiana State Fairgrounds is $10. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to park due to anticipated large crowds at the Fairgrounds. Infield parking is now available.TICKETS: Tickets for today’s game can be purchased at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum Box Office or online HERE. Kids two and under do not need a ticket as long as they sit on the lap of a ticketed patron.BAG POLICY: The Indy Fuel now follow the same bag policy as all Indiana State Fairgrounds events. All bags are subject to search upon entering the arena. All bags larger than 14” x 14” x 6” (backpacks, suitcases, duffel bags, etc.) are prohibited. Please plan accordingly to help facilitate a quick and efficient entry process. Please report suspicious bags to an Indiana Farmers Coliseum team member. ABOUT THE HOCKEY:
INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel host the Toledo Walleye for the first time this season after going 1-1 against them in Toledo. Indy currently sits in second place, tied with the Walleye in points but ahead of them in regulation wins.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these teams met was December 10, 2022 when the Fuel visited the Walleye and fell 4-1 with the lone goal coming from Cam Hillis to avoid the shutout late in the game. It was a very physical matchup that earned Kale Howarth a two-game suspension.
CHEERFUL CHAD
Chad Yetman rejoins the team after a brief stint in the AHL with the Belleville Senators this weekend. He currently has 22 goals and 22 assists with the Fuel, leaving him second place on the team in point but the highest points per game average on the team with 1.10. Yetman also leads the team in +/- with +17.
SPECIAL TEAMS
The Fuel’s special teams have fluctuated quite a bit this season but they currently sit at fourth in the league in power play success with 23.1% and 46 power play goals. They rank eighth overall on the penalty kill, however their home penalty kill is where they excel coming in second overall in the league with an 85.9% penalty kill rate.
