INDIANAPOLIS – The Indy Fuel have announced multiple roster transactions including acquiring forward Zach Jordan. Jordan was traded from the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) to the IceHogs for defenseman Adam Clendening Tuesday.
Jordan, 26, has played 43 games this season for the Jacksonville IceMen, including two games against the Fuel earlier this season. The 6’3” forward has 26 points through those 46 games as well as 35 penalty minutes and a +/- of -2.
While in Jacksonville, Jordan was named ECHL Player of the Week for the week of January 9, where he had five goals and an assist in three games.
Prior to that, the Collinsville, Illinois native played 38 games for the Kalamazoo Wings in the 2021-22 season where he recorded 13 goals and nine assists. He also played 19 games for the K-Wings AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters that season where he recorded three points and 12 penalty minutes.
From 2016 to 2020, Jordan attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha and tallied 72 points over four seasons.

Additionally, the Fuel have signed defenseman Samuel Sterne who just finished his final collegiate season at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Through four seasons with the division III team, the 5’11” defenseman has collected ten points. Prior to that, the Batavia, Illinois native played two seasons for the Springfield Jr. Blues of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) where he helped the Blues to the playoffs twice.
