INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel announced Wednesday that they have signed forward Tyler Kobryn ahead of their first game against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits this season on Friday.
Kobryn, a Hillsborough, New Jersey native joins the Fuel from the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL where he played 39 games this season, tallying nine points. During the 2021-22 season, he played for the Kalamazoo Wings and Gladiators where he tallied 11 points in 48 games.
During the 2020-21 season, the 6’3, 220-pound forward made his ECHL debut with the Tulsa Oilers where he scored six points in 33 games.
Prior to his professional debut, he played four seasons at Wesleyan University where he tallied 29 points in 98 games.

In addition, the Fuel have picked up Nick Cardelli off of waivers from the Iowa Heartlanders. Cardelli is a 25-five-year old forward from Wood Dale, Illinois.
The 5'10 right wing scored one goal with the Heartlanders in four games after signing with them out of college this season. He played 31 games at the American International College where he tallied eleven goals and eleven assists.
Prior to that, Cardelli played four years at Bemidji State University where he played 92 games and tallied 36 points.
