INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel head to Cincinnati to finish off their weekend against the Cyclones in a hope to break their three game losing streak and collect two points in the standings.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last night in Indianapolis where they faced off for the first time in the regular season. After a thrilling three-goal comeback late in the third period, the Fuel forced overtime but ultimately fell 7-6 to the Cyclones who sit in third place in the Central division.
BOLD BELLANT
Andrew Bellant is third on the Fuel in points with seven through the first seven games. He had three points in last night’s game against Cincinnati including two important goals. He is the only player on the Fuel to have scored a shorthanded goal so far this season. Bellant will look to continue his successful weekend against the Cyclones tonight.
SPECIAL TEAMS
The Fuel allowed two shorthanded goals and a power play goal in last night’s matchup with Cincinnati. A key to winning tonight’s game will be to find success while on the power play or penalty kill where the Cyclones were able to capitalize last night.
