INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel head to Kalamazoo for a two-game series against the K-Wings this weekend. After a 3-2 loss at home last Saturday, Indy will look to bounce back and claim four points on the road.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last week on Indy’s Teddy Bear Toss night. In front of a sellout crowd, the Fuel collected 5,875 bears to donate but ultimately fell to the K-Wings 3-2 in regulation. Colin Bilek and Kyle Maksimovich were Indy’s two goal scorers that game.
CONSISTENT CAM
Forward Cam Hillis heads into this game leading the Fuel in points with 23 which is over a point per game average. He’s had ten power play assists which is a stat he also leads the team in. He’s tallied 51 shots in total this season and is looking to continue his point streak through four games.
AROUND THE DIVISION
Aside from Toledo who sits in first place in the Central division, all six remaining teams are separated by just six points meaning any weekend could completely flip the standings and headed into the weekend, the Fuel have played the least amount of games in the division so far.
