INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel face off with the Norfolk Admirals for the second night in a row, in an attempt to claim two more points and climb in the very close Central division standings.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last night when the Fuel defeated the Norfolk Admirals in their first meeting this season. A hard fought battle between two teams where the Admirals outshot the Fuel by eight, ended with Indy on top 3-2 with a highlight reel-worthy game winner by Bryan Lemos.
LIGHT THE LAMP, LEMOS
Since joining the Fuel, Bryan Lemos handily leads the team in most multi-point games with five, including last night where he tallied a goal and an assist. He is fourth on the team in scoring despite missing a handful of games in the beginning of the season and has had a big impact on the Fuel’s special teams with a shorthanded goal and eight power play assists so far.
STANDINGS SWAP
The Fuel are currently in fifth place in the Central division with 30 points but one less game played than the Cincinnati Cyclones who also have 30 points. Just five points separates sixth and second place in the Central division, meaning after two more days of game play outside the division, the Fuel could find themselves in a much higher spot.
