INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel start their week early with a trip to Toledo for their first game against their division rival, the Walleye on Wednesday morning.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was March 30, 2024 in Toledo where the Walleye took a 3-2 shootout win over the Fuel with Cam Gray in net. Toledo outshot Indy 41-33 in that game. Indy was only outshot 24 times last season but five of those times were by Toledo, the most of any team.
START EARLY
While you can’t get much earlier than a 10:35 a.m. puck drop, the Fuel should aim to score before that clock hits eleven if they want to create some early momentum and keep the division leaders at bay. Indy has not scored a first period goal all season and will look to change that on Wednesday morning.
