GAME 9 - WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13 AT TOLEDO - 4-1 W

The Fuel faced the Toledo Walleye on Wednesday morning in a rare morning matchup. In front of a crowd of mostly students, the Fuel would pull away in the third period to win 4-1.

GAME 10 - FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15 AT WHEELING - 2-1 SO L

The Fuel headed to Wheeling, West Virginia to take on the Nailers in their first meeting of the season and first meeting since the Nailers left the Central division for the North division. In a playoff revenge game, the Fuel fell to Wheeling, 2-1 after forcing the game to a shootout.

GAME 11 - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16 AT WHEELING - 3-0 W

The Fuel finished their weekend in Wheeling on Saturday night where they fell 5-2. After giving up three goals in the first period, they scored two in the second but could not make a comeback. 

OIL DROPS

• Rookie Goaltender Ben Gaudreau is ranked 17th in the ECHL for goaltending with a save percentage of 90.9%. He is ranked 3rd for rookie goaltenders.
• Head Coach Duncan Dalmao is currently two wins away from setting a new franchise record for most wins for a Fuel head coach.
• Colin Bilek, Matus Spodniak and Chris Cameron all tallied their first goal of the season over the weekend in Wheeling. 
• Cameron’s goal was the fastest goal this season, just 19 seconds into the first period. 

TEAM NOTES

• The Fuel has the second-fewest penalty minutes with 93, an average of 8.45 minutes per game. 
• The team is 3-0-0-1 when scoring first. The Fuel’s sole loss when scoring first was the Friday shootout game in Wheeling.
• Despite allowing five power-play goals this season, the Fuel is ranked 5th in the league for overall penalty-killing record. 
• It’s a balance with the Fuel, with an average of 1.36 goals for and an average of 2 goals against per game. The Fuel is 29th in the league for goals for and 3rd for goals against.
