INDIANAPOLIS - The Fuel will host the Toledo Walleye for the first time ever at the Fishers Event Center. This will be the second matchup this season between Indy and Toledo.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was for Toledo's Education Day game on November 13. After an early score by Trenton Bliss of the Walleye, it was all Fuel as they scored four unanswered goals, including two by Kevin Lombardi in the third period.
UP AND DOWN DECEMBER
It has been an interesting December for the Fuel. They currently sit at 3-4-2 in the month of December and it's all come in waves. Less than 24 hours before Cam Hausinger's hat trick, the team was shut out by Fort Wayne. The team set team and league records against the Allen Americans a week before that.
December has been a record-setting month for individual players on the Fuel but team success has been up-and-down. Tonight's game against the division-leading Toledo Walleye will be a true test.
