INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel will head to Kalamazoo to finish the calendar year on Tuesday evening. This is the first of back-to-back games against the K-Wings as they will play again in Indy on January 3.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was on December 15 when the Fuel visited Kalamazoo and shut them out 2-0. Joe Vrbetic had his second shutout of the season and second shutout in a row with that win. Indy held the K-Wings to just 14 shots and Ethan Manderville claimed the game winning goal.
NEW YEAR, NEW D
The Fuel lineup has been shaken up quite a bit over the last few weeks. Between injuries and call-ups, the lack of consistency in the Fuel’s lineup has unfortunately shown. With DJ King returning from Rockford and the addition of Ryan Orgel, the Fuel will look to bolster the blue line.
WHAM, BAM, THANK YOU CAM
Cam Hausinger enters this game on a four-game point streak. Through the last four games, Hausinger has two assists and five goals, including a hat trick in the Fuel’s win over Fort Wayne on December 21. He leads the team in goals, points, and penalty minutes.
