INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel have announced recent transactions for the team.
Jesse Tucker signed standard player contract
The Indy Fuel signed Jesse Tucker to a standard player contract on March 7.
Tucker, 25, is a left shooting center from Longlac, ON. The rookie has not played a professional game, coming off of four years in the NCAA.
He spent two seasons at Michigan State University, one season at Clarkson and his season year at Nothern Michigan University. He also spent three years in the USHL with the Green Bay Gamblers and was their captain in the 2020-2021 season. His NCAA total is 135 games with 15 goals and 41 assists. Tucker had 129 points in the USHL.
Since joining the Fuel in early March, he has netted two goals.
Jarrett Lee received from Orlando
The Indy Fuel received Jarrett Lee from Orlando on March 7.
Lee, 25, is a left shooting forward from Hibbing, MN. He is on his second full pro year.
After playing at the University of St. Thomas in 2023, he signed with the Wheeling Nailers. He played for the Nailers and Cyclones last season before signing with the Orlando Solar Bears over the offseason. He played at Nothern Michigan University and the University of Minnesota-Duluth as well.
His ECHL total so far is 13 goals and 31 assists.
Ryan Ouellette signed standard player contract
The Indy Fuel signed Ryan Ouellette to a standard player contract on March 14.
Ouellette, 24, is a goaltender from Colorado Springs, CO. The 6’0” rookie made his professional debut March 14 and his first professional start March 16.
He spent the last season at Northern Michigan University with a 2.95 goals-against average and a save percentage of .917. Previous to that, he spent two years at Niagara University.
Spencer Cox signed standard player contract
The Indy Fuel signed Spencer Cox to a standard player contract on March 14.
Cox, 24, is a left shooting defenseman from Powell, Ohio. The rookie made his professional debut March 14 against Kalamazoo.
He joined the Fuel after two seasons at Miami University of Ohio and before that, two seasons at Long Island University. He spent time in the USHL and USHL as well.
Max Coyle claimed off waivers
The Indy Fuel claimed Max Coyle off waivers on March 16.
Coyle, 27, is a right shooting defenseman from Tillsonburg, ON. He played three games with the Fuel after three years at Bowling Green University in 2023.
He joined the Greenville Swamp Rabbits starting at the beginning of the 2023-2024 season. He was claimed off waivers from being released from Greenville. In the ECHL he has 2 goals and 17 assists.
