FISHERS- The Fuel have announced on Wednesday that they have signed defenseman Cody Schiavon to a standard player contract for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
Schiavon, 25, joins the team after playing one game for the Orlando Solar Bears this season.
The West Kelowna, BC native played three seasons for Canisius College, where he majored in finance, before his professional career began. There, he played 88 games and became an Atlantic Hockey Champion.
He played for three teams in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) before playing collegiately. He played 148 regular-season games over four seasons in the BCHL.
The 6’0 defenseman served as team captain of the Surrey Eagles and the Trail Smoke Eaters. In a split season between the Eagles and Smoke Eaters, recorded nine goals and 21 assists in 47 games.
