FISHERS- The Fuel have announced on Tuesday that they have signed defenseman Jackson Desouza to a standard player contract for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The 23-year-old, right-handed shot joins Indy after one season in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), where he played 52 games for the Dundee Stars. During the 2024-25 season, he played for Lillehammer in Norway.
Before going pro, the Erie, Colorado native played parts of six seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL). He played 153 games for the Kelowna Rockets before finishing his WHL career with the Brandon Wheat Kings in 2024.
