FISHERS- The Fuel will play their first three-in-three weekend this week as they kick things off hosting the Toledo Walleye on Friday night and Cincinnati on Sunday, with a pit stop in Fort Wayne on Saturday night.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23
Indy will face off with the Toledo Walleye for the first time this season on Friday night at home. Toledo has only played one game so far this season. With a loss to the Fort Wayne Komets in that matchup, Toledo is still looking for their first win. Sam Craggs scored the first goal of the season for Toledo, despite them falling 6-3.
Last season, Toledo finished in second place in the Central division behind the Komets. That year against Toledo, the Fuel had three regulation losses, one overtime loss, and two shootout wins in an even split of three home games and three road games.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24
On Saturday, the Fuel will travel to Fort Wayne to take on the Komets in their first meeting of the 2026-27 season. They too have only played one game so far this season, and it was the 6-3 win over Toledo on October 17. They also played two preseason games against the Wheeling Nailers and won them both.
The Komets scored four unanswered goals to finish the game, beginning with Johannes’ second goal of the game coming within two minutes of the end of the second period. This came after back-to-back goals by Toledo’s Tanner Dickison to give them their only, brief lead of the game.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25
Indy will finish the weekend against the Cincinnati Cyclones on Sunday as they host them for ZOOperstars! Family Fun Day. Heading into the weekend, the Cyclones have just one game played. It came last Saturday when Cincy came to Indy and claimed a 4-3 victory over the Fuel.
The Cyclones will host the Bison for their home opener on Saturday night before finishing their weekend in Indy on Sunday once more. Former Fuel and Bison forward, Sahil Panwar had a great night in Indy in their first game. He scored a goal and two assists while going +3 on the night, earning first star and helping them win the game.
