In the second half of back-to-back games at Indiana Farmers Coliseum, the Fuel host the Norfolk Admirals. Shutting out the Admirals on Tuesday night, Indy is looking for their first back-to-back wins since December 17 and 18. Norfolk is looking to win their first game since December 4.

LAST TIME OUT
In the first meeting ever between the two teams, the Indy Fuel hosted the Norfolk Admirals on Tuesday night. After a scoreless first period, the Fuel saw four goals from Jan Mandat, Mike Lee, Spencer Watson and Seamus Malone as they cruised to a win on Tuesday.
NEW GUY
Since signing in the Circle City on December 9, Jan Mandat has tallied nine points in six games with the Fuel. In his last two games, the Czech Republic native has registered two goals and three assists. Through his first six games with the Fuel, Mandat is averaging two scoring chances, putting him in first on the Fuel in that category.
SHUTTING THEM OUT
Michael Lackey picked up Indy’s fourth shutout of the season on Tuesday night. Lackey became the third Fuel goaltender to earn a shutout this season joining Mitch Gillam and Cale Morris. This is the third time three different goaltenders have posted shutouts in a Fuel season.
CHASING HISTORY
Picking up two assists in Indy’s win over the Admirals on Tuesday night, Jared Thomas extended his point streak to 14 games. Thomas is currently one game behind Spencer Watson for the longest point streak in franchise history. Watson recorded a 15-game point streak during the 2019-20 season. With five goals and 16 assists, Thomas could tie the record on Wednesday night.
SPECIAL TEAMS FIRING
Tallying goals on seven out of their last 14 chances, the Fuel power play is firing on all cylinders. Leading the team in power play goals, Darien Craighead has registered six goals on the man advantage. Behind him, Seamus Malone has five of his own. Entering Wednesday’s contest, the Indy Fuel is 4th in the ECHL in power-play percentage, scoring on 25% of their chances.
