Two-time Stanley Cup Champion Daniel Carcillo to visit February 3 for Blackhawks Night

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, announced that two-time Stanley Cup Champion Daniel Carcillo will be this year's special guest for the Fuel's Blackhawks Night next Saturday, February 3. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the former Blackhawks forward at Indiana Farmers Coliseum as part of Indy's annual celebration of their NHL affiliate in Chicago.

Carcillo was part of a pair of Stanley Cup Championships with the Blackhawks in 2013 and 2015, before retiring from the NHL in September of 2015. The rugged forward played nine NHL seasons from 2006-2015 with the Blackhawks, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers and Phoenix Coyotes, finishing his career with 100 points (48g, 52a) and 1,233 penalty minutes in 429 regular season games.

A third-round selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft (No. 73 Overall), Carcillo appeared in 45 Stanley Cup Playoff games throughout his career, tallying seven goals and seven assists. The native of King City, Ontario recorded six points in 17 games to help the Flyers to an appearance in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final against Chicago, before seeing action in four games during the Blackhawks' 2013 playoff run

Following his retirement, Carcillo founded the Chapter 5 Foundation, a non-profit organization providing support and resources for athletes transitioning to life after their playing careers. He now leads Total Player Development (TPD), the Chicago area's first specialized off-ice hockey training center at MB Ice Arena, the new practice facility and community rink of the Chicago Blackhawks

In addition to Carcillo's appearance, those in attendance for the fourth-annual Blackhawks Night in Indianapolis will have the opportunity to meet mascot Tommy Hawk and the Blackhawks Ice Crew. Prior to face-off between the Fuel and the Toledo Walleye, fans will also be treated to a pre-game performance from iconic National Anthem singer Jim Cornelison. Tickets are available at IndyFuelHockey.com, or by visiting the Indiana Farmers Coliseum box office.

Single-Game tickets are now available for the entire 2017-18 Fuel season at Indiana Farmers Coliseum! Fans can also take advantage of a wide variety of Ticket Plans by calling 317-925-FUEL or visiting IndyFuelHockey.com.
