Fuel front office recognized at ECHL Summer Meetings

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel organization was well represented at the 2018 ECHL Summer Meetings from June 20-22 at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. During the meetings, the Fuel front office was recognized with the 2017-18 ECHL Award of Excellence in both Game Operations and Social Media.

The inaugural winners of the league's Game Operations award, the Fuel were selected based on the success of a variety of their promotional and theme nights throughout the season, as well as the overall game night experience at Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Earning the ECHL's Social Media Award for the second consecutive season, the Fuel were voted as the team that best exemplifies the use of social media in regards to the scope of team reach, the use of creative content and campaigns, the use of social to meet business goals, and using social to interact with fans.

In addition to the club's two awards, the Fuel were also nominated for ECHL Website of the Year, while Director of Marketing Brent Hollerud was a nominee for the league's Media Relations Director of the Year.
