ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT PRESENTED BY MARIAN UNIVERSITY INDIANAPOLIS - JOSH SHALLA

Hailing from Oshawa, Ontario, Josh Shalla spent four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League before making his professional debut with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals. Shalla played four ECHL seasons before finding his way to the Circle City via a trade from the Wheeling Nailers, eventually finding some of the most success of his 11-year career. Skating in 163 games for the Fuel, Shalla currently ranks third in franchise history for game appearances. In two and a half seasons with Indy, Shalla would go on to become the Fuel's leading scorer in franchise history with 155 points as well as the franchise's leader in goals (81) and assists (74).

Shalla is also in the record books for the Saginaw Spirit as their fourth all-time leader in points (213) and overall goals leader with 119 goals. Shalla currently plays for SC Csíkszereda in Romania for the Erste Liga, a hockey league in Austria, Romania, and Hungary.
